The Gurston Down Hill Climb award annual trophies as follows


The Wadham Stringer / Brunton Trophy
This Trophy is awarded annually to the Championship winner

2009 Winner - Sarah Bosworth


The Guards Trophy
This Trophy is awarded annually to the Top Ten Challenge winner

2009 winner - Simon March


Equipe Brutoni Shield
This Shield is awarded to the Competitor driving a 500cc Racing Car
who achieves the fastest time at Gurston Down in this season

2009 winner - Mark Riley


Corona Challenge Cup
This Cup is awarded to the South West Centre Member who has made the greatest
improvement on a Class Record as at January 1st during the ensuing season

2009 winner - Steve Butts


Heather Brampton Trophy
This Trophy is awarded to the lady competitor who has improved the most on a bogey
time as at January 1st this year, who is also a South West Centre member

2009 Winner - Sarah Bosworth


Terence Tattam Memorial Trophy
This Trophy will be awarded to the South West Centre member driving a saloon or
sportscar who achieves the fastest run at Gurston Down Hill Climb during the season

2009 Winner - Mike Rudge


The Logette Cup
This cup is awarded to the driver of the highest placed 2000cc Modified Production
Saloon Car in the Gurston Championship

2009 Winner - Jules Freeman


The Pitt Trophy
This trophy is awarded to the driver of the highest placed Sports Libre Car
in the Gurston Championship

2009 Winner - Rodney Thorne


The Keir and Cawder Quaich
This trophy is awarded to the South West member achieving the fastest time of the year
in the Historically Interesting Class

2009 Winner - Geoff Hunt


Dorchester Planning Consultancy Trophy
This Trophy is awarded to the competitor scoring the highest number of points
in the Championship who has not won an award at any Gurston meeting during the year

2009 Winner - Derek Mullis


Parkhouse and Wyatt Challenge Trophy
This Trophy is presented to the winner of a Competition Car Concours, who must be a
South West Centre member, judged throughout the Gurston season. Cars are judged
on the basis of age, cleanliness, finish, safety and fitness for purpose

2009 Winner - Vince Stone


Keith Salmon Memorial Trophy
This Trophy is presented to the South Western Centre member competing at Gurston
based on Concours presentation and Championship performance

2009 Winner - James Blackmore


Marsh and Masters Trophy
This Trophy is presented to the driver achieving the highest place in the Championship
but was of pensionable age at the start of the season.

2009 Winner - Graham Masters


The Penske Marshal of the Year
This Trophy is awarded to the marshal who receives the most votes from members
of the Gurston Incident Team. Votes cast reflect such attributes as team spirit,
committment and outstanding marshalling. This award can be made jointly.

2009 Marshal of the Year - Mike Devine


Endeavour Award
Awarded occasionally by the Committee for services to the Centre or outstanding
achievements within the sport of Hillclimbing
