Event Calendar

The proposed 2026 events at the Gurston Down Hillclimb are as follows:

Test Day – Sunday April 19th. This event will run under a standard MSUK permit, and timing will be provided.

Spectators are welcome. Admission arrangements and ticket prices will be announced shortly.

Championship Weekends:

Saturday/Sunday 02nd/03rd May. Two rounds of both the Turbo Dynamics Gurston Down Hillclimb Championship and the Online Cleaning Technologies Gurston Down Top Ten Challenge. Entries will be invited for Saturday, Sunday or both days. The weekend will run under a two-day MSUK Interclub permit.

Spectators are welcome; advance tickets will be available online, or admission tickets may be purchased on the day at the gate. Adults (16 or over) are £15.00 each; Children (up to and including 15) will be admitted free-of-charge. Online tickets will be a little cheaper.

Saturday/Sunday 23rd/24th May. Two rounds of the MSUK National Hillclimb Championship. Entries will be      only be accepted in the National Classes for both days (i.e. you cannot enter the National classes on just Saturday or Sunday). A class will also be provided on each day for competitors not in the National Classes, and entries into this Interclub class will also be for both days (i.e. you cannot enter just the Saturday or the Sunday).The weekend will run under both a two-day MSUK National A permit and a two-day MSUK Interclub permit.

The Saturday evening of this meeting sees the annual end-of-season Bar-B-Que. Open to Competitors, Marshals, Officials, Campers and their families, this celebration has good food, a well stocked bar, and music. Centered in our Restuarant, and provisioned by our regular caterers, the evening always goes with a swing. Tickets wll be available during the Saturday from the main paddock office. The 2026 ticket price will be announced nearer the time.

The “Gurston Ascent” Day will take place on Sunday 26th July. This event is non-competitive (i.e. no timing), and is being arranged by a private organisation. We expect to have a wide variety of road-legal cars attending, including Super Cars and Historic Vehicles.

Spectators are welcome. Details of the event, timetable and the public admission prices will be determined closer to the event.

Hillclimb Driving School Days:  Four full days of hillclimb tuition will be provided during 2026. These are Tuesday 07th April, Tuesday 05th May, Thursday 04th June and Thursday 16th July. These days are run under the auspices of AHASS (The Association of Hillclimb and Sprint Schools) which is an MSUK recognised affiliate. See the dedicated School page within this website for more information. The April School will incorporate entries from the WRDC IntoSpeed initiative.

Motorcycles: We are expecting to have motorcycles from the National Hillclimb Association at one of two meetings in 2026. The motorcycles run under regulations and permits issued by the AutoCycle Union (ACU). More details will follow shortly.
